Journalist, Author & Social Impact Narratives
About Me
My name is Sesina Hailou
I am passionate about telling stories and giving a platform to individuals so that every voice can be heard. I have experience in journalism, creating compelling content, and leading campaigns from complex policy research.
As a journalist, I have covered topics on human rights and social impact narratives. I have written about the experiences of survivors of conflict-related sexual violence as well as conducted interviews for In Plain Sight, a book documenting the testimonies of survivors of CRSV in Tigray.
Currently, I'm working as a Communications and Fundraising officer at Right To Play, an international charity organisation, and previously held a role as a Digital Campaigner for women and girls at Global Citizen.
